Walter C. Arnold “Walt”

Age 60 of Vandalia, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 10, 1964 to his parents, James & Barbara (Riley) Arnold who have both preceded him in death.

Walter is survived by his daughter, Casey (Ryan) Jones, and their children Kinlee & Hunter; daughter, Jennifer (Ben) Bennett and their daughter, Kamryn; sister, Lucy (Mark) Wilkins; niece, Stephanie Wilkins; nephew, Stephen (Katie) Wilkins; great nieces, Madison, Emma, and Grace; and numerous other family members and friends. Special thank you to his neighbors over the last couple years that became his great friends.

Walt graduated from Dixie High School in 1983. He started working at Petry’s Meat Market when he was 16 years old and eventually opened his own shop called, Casey’s Meat Market. He also worked with the Montgomery County Engineers and retired after over 30 years of service. Walt was an avid fisherman and camper. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and family and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, May 27th at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 28th also at the Funeral Home. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
