LUTZ-Basile, Wanda J. “Witchey” (Coriell) Age 91, born 9/2/27 in Portsmouth, Ohio and passed away at Flagler Health & Rehab in Flagler Beach, FL on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Harry “Dirty” Lutz; son, Terry Lutz; grandson, Heath Douglas Comer; brother, Thomas C. Coriell; and best friend, Christine “Honey Jug” Denham. She is survived by her daughter, Candi (Kenneth) Graf; grandchildren, Lance (Angie) Comer, Aaron (Laura) Comer, Terry M. Lutz, Jr., Trinity Lutz, Chad (Lisa) Graf, and Denise Decker; great-grandchildren, Bridgette L. Comer, Lyla & Alivia Comer, Caleb, Christopher, and Sebastian Lutz, Kayley (Ina) Garmen, Tyler Graf, Hannah Graf, Zach Decker, and Gabrielle Decker; great-great grandson, Brandley L. Comer, and another baby boy to arrive in December. Wanda is also survived by her brothers, Dick (Marti) Coriell, and Jerry (Carolyn) Coriell; nephews, Ed (Carol) Lutz, Jim (Cindy) Lutz, Jeff Coriell, and Tommy Coriell; nieces, Kelly (Ken) Rineman, Vicky (Jeremy) Sandelbach, Debbie (Dan) Papay, Corky (Kevin) Curl, and Micki (Doug) Lamb. Wanda retired from the New Lebanon Postal Service with 20 years of service. She served as a commissioner in Beverly Beach, FL, was a member of American Legion Post Auxiliary 762, and served on “Turtle Patrol” in Flagler Beach, FL. She loved her family as well as collecting shells on the beach. Wanda also enjoyed all types of music and dancing but especially loved her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Thank you also to Flagler Health and Rehab, for their excellent caregiving, strong relationships and bonds that were formed over the years. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Sunday, Oct.21, 2018 at Rogers’ Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday, Oct. 22, 2018 also at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Eversole Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's’ Association for research, or, if desired, bring in a ladies purse filled with feminine products to the funeral home, the family will then donate the purse to ladies in need in the Panama City/Mexico Beach area post Hurricane Michael when they return home.
