Wanda L. (Law) Michael

MICHAEL, Wanda Lee (Law) Age 84, of Englewood, Ohio, formerly of New Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. She was born December 6, 1929 in Dayton to the late Paul E. and Rosie B. (Barton) Law. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Daryl Michael, Sr; son, Dana Michael; daughter, Darlene Michael; daughter-in-law, Becky Michael; and grandson, Ryan Michael. She is survived by her son, Daryl Michael, Jr; daughter, Melinda Cox; grandchildren, Shaun Michael, Scott Michael, Shannon Powell; Andrew Cox, and Heather Cox; great-grandchildren, Lane & Carson Powell; Conner & Claire Michael; and Hadleigh Cox; special friends, Lois Githens, Norma Martin, and Esther Jonas; and many more friends and family members. After graduating from Jefferson High School, Class of 1948, Wanda was employed at Frigidaire and Elder-Beerman. She was a member of New Lebanon United Methodist Church/ Liberty United Methodist Church, Country Side Garden Club for 25 years, Home Makers Club for 35 years, and Nimble Thimble Club for 20 years. An avid pet lover and traveler; spending time with her family gave her most enjoyment. The family would like to thank the staff at Englewood Manor for their loving care. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1 from 11AM to 1PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Gary Eubank, officiating. Burial will follow at Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon.
