PHILLIPS, Wanda

Age 69 of Dayton, passed away on Nov. 28th, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Banks; father, Chester Banks; life-long partner, Harley Thompson; sisters, Cheryl Lynn, and Phyllis Merta, and brothers, Franklin Banks, and Ronald (Flo) Banks.

Wanda is survived by 2 daughters, Renee Tomlinson (Andrew Rucker), and Rita Heys; brother Leroy (Marylin) Banks; grandchildren, Mercades (Brandon) Phillips, Alex (Alexis) Phillips, Nick Brunsman, Jacob Tomlinson, Zoey & Abigail Tomlinson, and Skilar & Lillian Rucker; great grandchildren, Asher & Amelia Phillips, and Adeline & Audrina Phillips; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Wanda worked for Montgomery County Board of Mental Retardation for 31 years. She loved and was loved by many. There was not a friend she did not make. Wanda will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.

Visitation will be held from 12-1pm with funeral to begin at 1:00pm on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022 at Rogers Funeral Home New Lebanon. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com

Wanda's service will combined with her longtime partner, Harley Thompson. We will be visiting 2 different cemeteries in procession following the service at the funeral home.
