Willard Sampson

October 17, 1927 — April 10, 2011

Sampson, Willard Age 83 of Brookville, OH was born to his late parents Lorenza and Hazel (Ward) Sampson in Lee Co., Virginia. Willard went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday April 10, 2011. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church New Lebanon OH., Korean War Army Veteran, farmer, carpenter, devoted and loving husband, caring father and grandfather. Survived by his devoted and loving wife of 53 years, Esther Marie (Musselman) Sampson and 5 children Valerie Warner, Lisa Sampson, Chris & (Karie) Sampson, Scott & (Theresa) Sampson, and Mark & (Tonia) Sampson. 10 Grandchildren, 10 Great-grandchildren, a special sister in law Juanita Cooper. He is survived by four brothers and five sisters, preceded in death by 3 siblings. A Celebration of Willard’s life will be 11:00 AM Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the New Lebanon 1st Baptist Church, 335 S. Church St. with Pastor Stephen Betts officiating. Interment will follow at Trissel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Willard’s memory.
