William L. "Bill" Begley

BEGLEY, William L. "Bill" age 66, of Brookville, passed away at home surrounded by his family after a 2 year battle with cancer on Saturday, December 7, 2013. Bill was born on June 1, 1947 in Dayton to the late Lee and Alberta Begley. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Charlotte; daughters, Tina (Rob) Davis, Crystal (Jimmy) Elmore, and Jennifer Begley; grandchildren, Ashley Davis, Austin Elmore, Logan Elmore, Jacob Davis, and Maddie Davis; sister, Bobbie Muncy; best friend and brother-in-law, Wayne Hutchings; nephews, Randy and Tony Muncy; nieces, Luana Ping and Leann Jones; cousin, Durwood Deaton; and many more family and friends. Bill was a graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School, Class of 1966. He retired from Harris Thomas Drop Forge and then went to work at the Villas of Brookhaven in maintenance. He enjoyed spending time at the YMCA, but loved watching his grandchildren play sports. The Visitation will be on Thursday, December 12 from 5PM to 8PM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 11AM on Friday, December 13 at the funeral home, with Chaplain Phil Marxson, officiating. Burial will follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bill's memory to the Brookhaven Benevolent Foundation or Hospice of Dayton.
