William Dave Brock, Sr.

BROCK, William Dave Sr. Age 74 of Trotwood, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015. He was born on December 6, 1940 in Dayton to his parents Quinn & Mildred (Roberts) Brock. William was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jocelyn Brock; step-father, Red Brewer; mother-in-law, Bernadine Miller; and father-in-law, Joseph Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sandra M. Brock; 3 sons, William Jr., Quinn, and Steven Brock; 2 grandsons, William I. and Shane Brock; siblings, Gertrude Botts, Donald Brock, Loren (Lydia) Brock, and Ruthie (Dan) Hardin; beloved pet, Snow White; his dog Quinnboy; and granddog, Sheba; lifetime friends, Terry Tegmeyer, and Terry Healey; and many more family members and friends. William loved watching his grandkids play sports and was a lifelong UD Flyers fan. Visitation will be held from 10-11AM with funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Rogers’ Funeral Home in Trotwood. Interment will follow the service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntington Chorea Disease Society of America in memory of William.
