William E. "Doe" Daniel

DANIEL, WILLIAM E. “Doe” Age 74 of Englewood, passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2016. He was born in Letcher Co, KY on Oct. 11, 1942 to his parents, William G. & Reba (Burrows) Daniel. Doe was preceded in death by his parents; and first wife Donna J. Daniel; second wife Donna K. Daniel; and sister, Brenda C. (nee Daniel) Mitchell. He is survived by sons, Scott (Ellen), Doug, and Chris (Jenni); grandchildren, Rachael, Ryan, Billy, and Alyssa; great grandson, Peyton; 5 siblings; Shirley, Betty, Virginia “Ginny”, Donnie, and Jesse; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Doe was the former president of the Meadowdale Youth Athletic Association and was a volunteer fireman for Madison Township, Station 3 for 10 years. He had 2 careers; the first was with Dayton Tire & Rubber for 20 years, and second with Mosier Industries for 22 years. Doe was an avid Kentucky Basketball fan and a longtime member of Meadowdale Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Tuesday evening at Rogers Funeral Home in Trotwood. The Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 at Meadowdale Baptist Church, 3686 Haney Rd., Dayton, OH 45416. Pastor Dan Kincer officiating. Interment will follow the service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Meadowdale Baptist Church in memory of Doe.
