William James Robert “Bill” Fisher

Age 73 of Eaton, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 11, 1952 to his parents, Harry Russell & Nettie (Brown) Fisher.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Tommy and Leonard; and 2 sisters, Ruth and Irene.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara Ann; daughter, Martha (Zach) Rutan; son, James Robert (Allison) Fisher; grandchildren, Elijah, Joseph, Madilyn, and Alexander; brother, Harry Fisher; sister, Velma Thorpe; and many more family members and friends.

Bill was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, going to casinos and was an avid collector. Most of all, Bill will be remembered as a man who never met a stranger. He was loved and will be forever remembered.

Visitation will be held from 1-3pm with Memorial service with military honors to begin at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon. Inurnment will be at Bear Creek Cemetery at a later date. www.RogersFuneralHomes.com
