McKinley, William “Kris” Age 62, of Dayton, died unexpectedly after a lengthy illness Friday, July 5, 2019. He was born October 10, 1956 in Syracuse, New York to the late William and Faye McKinley. In addition to his parents, Kris was preceded in death by an infant son, Tyler McKinley; sister, Retta McKinley; and parents-in-law, Dorothy and Dan Lamb. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Mary McKinley; daughters, Marion (Ron Meece) Quinn, Krison (Cameron) Katsetos, and Amy and Wes Quinn; grandchildren, Daniel (Barbara) Quinn, Joshua (Charlotte) Quinn, Kris Quinn, and Betty Quinn; great grandchildren, Tyler, Garrett, Olivia, and Valerie Quinn; siblings, Paul (Cheryl) McKinley, Anita (Mark) Gray, Rick (Anne) McKinley, Karen Sweney, and Don (Teri) Lamb; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Kris enjoyed watching NASCAR and soap operas, doing crossword puzzles, word searches, and Words with Friends, and telling (not always tasteful) jokes. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 10 from 2PM to 4PM at ROGERS’ FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The funeral service will begin at 4PM with Pastor Doug Criswell officiating.
