William Ray "Billy" Pollard

POLLARD, William Ray "Billy" Age 61 of Union, passed away suddenly Sat. Nov.5, 2011 after a long battle with Leukemia. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Owen; 2 brothers, Paul Douglas & Wilbur Lee; and 1 sister, Teresa. Bill is survived by his mother, Betty; brother, David; 4 children, Nicole, Paul, Holly, and Billy; 4 grandchildren; his girlfriend, Brenda Leigh; and many more family members and friends. Billy was employed by Entenmanns Bakery for 28 years. He was in the U.S. Army and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He was also a member of the Rider's Club @ Amvets #1789 in Brookville. Billy was a proud father, son, grandfather, brother, and great friend. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM with funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM on Wed. Nov. 9, 2011 at Rogers' Funeral Home, Trotwood, 110 W. Main St. A Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, 1639 East Lytle Five-Points Rd., Centerville, OH 45458. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org) and/or the Amvets #1789 in memory of Billy.
