Wilma J. Cagle

CAGLE, Wilma J. Age 82, of Trotwood, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. She was born September 1, 1930 in Winona, TN to the late Enoch and Sarah (Goins) Hamblin. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, Houston C.; son, Jeff; brothers, Ed, Mike, Roy, and Jay Hamblin; and sisters, Leona Baker, Lillian Chittwood, and Mary Jeffers. She is survived by her son and his wife, Bob and Yvonne Cagle; daughter and her husband, Donna and Carroll Groff; special grandchildren, Brian Cagle, Angie (Jeff) Lake, and Greg Groff; great-grandchildren, Katie and Emily Lake and Haleigh Groff; sisters, Wonnell (Estel) Bond and Nadine (Elmer "Bud") Jeffers; and many more relatives and special friends. Wilma loved to quilt, crochet, and to cook, but spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren gave her the most enjoyment. The funeral service will be 11AM on Saturday, January 19 at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, 110 W. Main St., Trotwood, with Pastor Donnie Smith, officiating, burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. Wilma's family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM at the funeral home on Friday, January 18. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and caregivers at Friendship Village and Hospice of Dayton. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Wilma to Hospice of Dayton.
